2006-07-08 06:12:30   Hi- I'm working on CSS and other server-side stuff... let me know if you have any layout suggestions or questions. —HeatherYager

2006-07-08 06:14:54   Ah- also- what are your thoughts about the setup of the Front_Page- I like the Explore vs. News table Front_Page_Sandbox, but am thinking perhaps "About" should be amalagamated into "About PGHWiki?" —HeatherYager

2006-07-08 13:23:54   Heather — The reason I didn't is because "About" can be about Pittsburgh rather than about the Wiki (in the future, when there's more content). While the wiki is still growing, it can be about the Wiki, but at some point there will be a flipover where the majority of people will be looking for information rather than adding content. "About" is a more general term that allows that slot to adapt. —EvanEdwards

2006-07-08 13:25:49   Incidently, other than the "brown lines", one thing I noticed about the CSS is that the top margin of the content area is right up against the green bar (it's most noticeable in entries that don't have a header as their start). A little space would probably be a good idea. —EvanEdwards

2006-07-10 14:08:58   Ahh yes- the space- I noticed that as well. I was trying to format on a single page and didn't notice til afterwards the effect on the whole thing. The brown lines are somewhat experimental, an attempt to outline the navigation pane on Front_Page_Test. I am not particularly fond of them, so if you have any alternatives- please suggest. Unfortunately, not much will get done for about two weeks (end of term). BTW, welcome! How did you find out about PGHwiki? —HeatherYager

2006-07-10 14:09:35   point taken re: "About"- agreed —HeatherYager

2006-07-11 17:11:29   Hey, this CSS is looking really good and unique! Is the active tab supposed to be sort of boxy and stick out into the region (rather than look like it's a continuous part of it)? I think it looks good either way — I'm just curious :) —PhilipNeustrom

2006-07-11 17:27:03   I really like the active tab "box" effect as well. —EvanEdwards

2006-07-12 14:27:33   Hey all, Heather and I were talking about possibilities for a tagging system for the various page outlets, so I thought I might investigate the possibilites on Shadyside...since I live there and all —CorruptionMagnet

2006-09-02 12:53:47   Lost track of comments here over the past month— yes, active tab should stick out! I like it : D However, I just noticed this in RocWiki and here as well- the new edit/info/article/talk tabs are displaying transparency incorrectly— will work to fix this- —HeatherYager
